Dr. Sagar Rao is originally from Bombay, India.
After moving to Canada, he was accepted into the dentistry program at the University of Toronto, from which he graduated as a general dentist, with a Doctors of Dental Surgery [D.D.S] degree in 2021.
Training and early career
Dr. Rao graduated from dental school with a Bachelors in Dental Surgery [B.D.S, Hons] in 2009 and a Masters in Dental Surgery [M.D.S] in the field of Endodontics and Conservative dentistry in 2014. Dr. Rao practiced as a specialist in India, providing root canal treatments to a diverse population, including Children and adults and people with special care needs.
An ongoing commitment to excellence
Dr. Sagar has a keen interest in dental research and provides a variety of dental services, and is exceptionally skilled in root canal treatments, restorative dentistry/fillings, crown/bridges, dentures, and conscious inhalational sedation.
Dr. Rao is an active member of the Ontario Dental Association, the Canadian Dental Association, Rideau District Dental Society and the Ottawa Dental Society.
